Shocks replacement and CVT Fluid Replacement cost
I have a 2004 Audi A4 cabriolet with 131k miles. 3.6 L V6. I got it preowned so I am not sure if there has been a CVT fluid replacement done, but knowing that there can be CVT problems, I want to get this done. What is a reasonable cost for this?
Also, what is a reasonable cost for parts and labor to replace the rear shocks? I was told that they are worn out based on tire cupping, but there is no leak. I found two shocks for $87, but are they compatible? I think the vehicle has the sports suspension. I do not care about the stiffness of the ride, as long as the shocks work.

Thank you so much!

As I understand Audi transmission... No maintenance on trannies
The CVT transmission on A4, if it didn't fail at early age, it should be a good one. Most people who mess around with the fluid change, may do it wrong and create more problems. You can try it and let us know how it goes. My sister's 04 cab is still running fine without doing anything.
