Hi,

I own a 2003 Audi A4 Cabriolet 3.0 and having problems with the roof-top getting stuck half way during the opening sequence.
When pushing the opening button the sequence start...the back part of the top with the glass lifts up then the metallic hood on the top of the trunk open up and then the glass part of the soft top goes down and everything get stuck!!
When the hood is open and the sequence should bring the top part inside the trunk the motor stop.
I had to manually close the top with the special key inside the dashboard but it happens often. I've already replaced the whole soft top, brand new pump, change the roof position sensor and the problem is still happening.

Any ideas? It might be an electronic problem rather than mechanical?
Any help will be appreciated.

Hey mine does the same thing. You just have to give it some help to push the top back when it gets stuck in mid cycle. and everything else should close. At least mine does.
