Default Audi Care

I read a few threads on Audi Care and I thought it's a good idea to get that. I just hit 15K and I called local dealership and they said I'm not qualified any more. I do not get the logic behind this. It's not like I have 110K and asking warranty fix.

You sure can still get it.
From the AudiCare brochure "Audi Care may be purchased at the full MSRP at the initial sale or lease of an eligible vehicle, or at a later date. A later purchase will not, however, allow you to roll the cost into your monthly payment. Service intervals that have already been performed will not be prorated. To receive the full cost-savings benefits of Audi Care, it is highly recommended
that you purchase the plan at the time you purchase or lease your vehicle, or before the 15,000-mile service interval"

Well, what local dealership is saying is that since my A6 has just over 15000 mileage my A6 is not eligible. Anything over 15000 they can't process it.

Call Audi directly and ask. I seem to recall seeing literature that suggested it must be purchased before the 15k, but Mike's info discredits that.

First I've ever heard that one. You can buy it from and use AC at any Audi service dept. - call a different dealer. If something has changed, call AOA and refer them to the Audi Care online brochure:

Just has Chat with Audi
#################################################
Kevin says:
well I contacted local dealer to purchase AUdi care and they said since my car has more than 15K mile on it i'm not eligibleto buy audi care. i
Kevin says:
mine has 15054mile
Cheryl H. says:
I'm sorry but I am not sure why the Dealer provided that information. I am aware there are guidelines for the Audi Care Plan and for the service timelines but I am not aware that you would not be able to purchase with that number of miles.
#################################################

She asked me to call during the office hour so they can take care this.
Is my local dealer odd?

I don't know about "odd", but the dealer is surely misinformed.

Wouldn't be the first time a dealer was wrong.

So I contacted Audi and they made some phone calls and told me it's done.(They were extremely nice) A few minutes later the dealer called me saying they will do "exception" on my case.
The price is went up though, dealer is saying it is $860.
I set up my first 15 K service for tomorrow.
Thanks for help, guys!

Exception. Huh. I think what's "exceptional" is an Audi dealer that doesn't even know their brand's AC program rules which are available in writing and on the internet to anyone who cares to read them. This one's a real head shaker.
