So I saw an old thread (from May) about US Spec A6's not having headlight washers. I had some damage done to my front left bumper and was repaired. Took my car into the dealer to have the Audi Brake Guard sensor re-calibrated and they showed me a tube that ran to the left front of my bumper that was not connected and leaked windshield washer fluid. No one at the dealer knew what this was for? Has anyone experienced this? I see cut outs for the headlight washers, but didn't think they worked.

If your car has the HUD/PIR, the hose could go to the camera lens washer jet. It would be located in the drivers side "O" of the grill badge. IIRC, the Canadian C7's have headlight washers and there was a thread about adding it to a USA C7.

Americans complained the spray so Audi removed it.

I had them on a 1999 Audi A6 and they used so much washer fluid I was sorry I had them.

I had it in my 2012 A6 in Korea and I hated them so much! I'm so happy they don't have them in the US on my 2016 A6

Thanks for the pics! Not sure if this is what is in the US Spec cars, but I'll mention it to the repair shop and see what they think.
