Hi All,

Would really appreciate some feedbacks on CPO prices. Not sure if this thread is ok to post here, if not please feel free to delete and I apologize.

I am highly considering CPO A6s, and I am targeting these prices for the '15 and '16 A6 3.0T. Do you feel these prices are realistic or way too low? I am in the NY/NJ/CT area.

2015 A6 3.0T - $42.5k
2016 A6 3.0T - $45k

I would love to hear what you guys paid for your CPO cars.

I find the prices vary a bit depending on the areas. So check Edmonds, true car, KBB

Thanks. I have check prices on those sites. At best, they give some guidance on market values.

However, I am more interested in real world pratices; what buyers are actually paying.

How many miles and what options do they have? Were they previous loaner cars? One dealer in NY (Long Island) once stated to me that they charge an additional $750 in addition to their doc fees for their CPO's.

There's one listed locally with 4k miles. It's the 3.0T with PP and Cold Weather package. Listed for $49k. I am waiting to see if it would drop to around $47k.

Why would they charge $750? What is it for?

What was the MSRP on each car? Those prices doesnt seem bad. Make sure they are really going to CPO them. When cars are that new many Audi dealerships dont bother to CPO them because so much warranty is left. You want them to CPO them though. It costs them around $1500 to do that.

I did not ask for the MSRP, but I am guessing between $60-$61k. I am sure it's CPO. It's listed as CPO, and Carfax says it's CPO.

Why would it cost the dealer $1500 to CPO? Doesn't the CPO goes through Audi for warranty and services? Just curious.

Hard to say if your target prices are realistic as you do not state what trim level, options or the mileage your target cars would have.

Most if the Cara I am looking at are Prem Plus with Cold weather. Nothing more.

For 2016 model, mileage is 7-8k miles or less.

For 2015 model 12-15k or less.

Prices are very dependent on options. You should really only be looking at cars with the Prestige package. The other interiors are lacking and don't look like a luxury car.
