just want to add this -- Just got a '16 TDI Prestige, and it has the same two issues -- PIN reentry and malformed address when address is sent via Google Maps.

I really hope the MIB-2 software is user upgradable as they have fixes, and add CarPlay/Android Auto (not holding my breath for the later)...

I do have same issue on my 2016 S6

where do you even set your pin? on the car or on the myaudi website...because if its the website, i cannot seem to find a place to set/reset it.

Nevermind, i think i found it....i opened up my app on my smart phone and there is a pin there...not sure it can be changed though.

I haven't found where to change either. May need to call customer support as it would be nice if it were one I could remember without opening app.

Larry, does your MY17 A7 include Apple CarPlay or Android Auto?

I have a 2016 Audi A7 and a 2014 Audi A6 and I only put in the PIN once and never had to reenter it in my car. Its not suppose to ask to reenter the PIN once you link your car with your phone application with the same PIN.

Not entirely true. Audi has stated that it is a design "feature" that on the 2016 A6/S6/A7/S7 that you need to enter the PIN every time. They have also said that they have had so many complaints about this that they are working on changing it so that you enter the PIN once and it is remembered.

I am one of the complainers. It doesn't seem like it would be that difficult to correct. You can't even reset the 8 digit numerical PIN to something shorter and more familiar to the driver.
