Default 2017 A6 Renderings

Here are some 2017 A6 (probably 2018 for NA) renderings. They are based on the Prologue design concept. I generally like the design, especially the lowered front. I think the side elements are too pronounced and the rear treatment could use a bit of work as well. What do you think?

It looks nice, but IMO it looks more like a Ford Fusion to me... I like the 2012-2015 design better.

First picture: I see a chubby R8 with an aston martin grill in the front
Rear picture: Looks like the rear of a honda accord.

To me the front is too mimicking of the Ford Fusion. The rear is OK, but retro to earlier Audi A6's in my opinion. Overall, though petty much as wold be expected.

Pictures of the B9 A4 were on line today and I hope the A6 avoids the A4 interior's "push buttton radio" look on the AC controls.

If valid, I'm glad I bought a 2016 A6. Don't like the shape of the grille or headlights

I am kind of thinking the same thing. I am a few months away from ending the lease on my 2013 A6 and likely to go with a 2016 A6. That being said, I think it is human nature for many of us to always think the “different” or “new” is bad or not as good as what we know and love. I felt that the styling change from the B7 A4 to the B8 A4 was a step backward style-wise, mostly due to the odd (to me) lines the hood and front fender intersects produced. I still feel that way: the B7 looks more “sculpted from a single piece” than the B8 does. I was happy to see today that the photos Audi released of the B9 A4 show a totally new hood devoid of the odd seams and lines in the front hood/fender area. Anyway, let’s hope Audi does not mess up their recent history of lovely cars.

Hope this rendering of the 2017 Ford Taurus came through. From this, the next gen Ford Taurus is gonna look a lot like the A6 snagit is showing us.

I am assuming this is going to be A6 C8. As it stands on the photos snagit shared it looks horrendous. The headlights and the grill are too wide and narrow, it gives an impression that they have been stretched from both sides, like a joker said in Dark Knight, "Why so serious". The air intakes on both sides are too much pronounced and very angular like many Lexus cars tend to appear these days. Now compare that to the 2016 MY. I think '16 MY is the most perfect incarnation of the A/S6 in its history.
