Just added a set of Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 tires (Car has 19 inch sport). Markedly better that then the Toyo Proxes 4 plus tires that were on it at purchase. I read the positive reviews on the prior version of the Conti Extreme Contacts and I can say the new versions do not disappoint. Really brings the performance up to what I was looking for in a sport package car. Nice noise control and grip too. Tires have been amazing in the rain.

If they come in the size you need, I recommend them. Ok thanks. The tire reps here said the 20" won't be available till August. So if you had the part number I would be able to pre order. We'll need to wait 1 more month.

+1 on Continental DWS. I have them on my Q7 and A4. Best tires for the value, thread life, etc.

My 2014 A6 Prestige 20" came with Yokohama Advan Sport A/O 255/35/R20's (Summer tires). Love them, great grip, better than any other A6 I tested. I live in Houston, virtually never freezes. I just changed tires today at 23,361 miles to the Continental Extreme Contact DW 255-35-ZR20 (Summer tires).

I had used my Yokohamas at 39/39 psi. The Conti Extreme DW's say 51 Max PSI, and my installer put them at 47. I'm thinking to put these at 41F/39R or something similar. Any thoughts on best pressure?

I tried but was not a fan of the Yoko's. Like you, i now have the Conti Extreme DWs, using 275/35-20 on my A7. I LOVE them - hated the P Zeros.

DO NOT pay attention to the sidewall pressure- that is ABSOLUTE COLD MAX PRESSURE. When you use UHP or MAX Summer tires, you really need to find out what you like - experiment - its fun. IMHO, 47 is WAY to high. I am using 41/41. The A7 with sport suspension handles like a rock star.

I have never used same front and back tp on an Audi before, since our front ends are so damn heavy, but it works here. I always used lower rear TP for ride comfort with the car not loaded.

I have not noticed much if any diff in ride with from 41/41, 40/40, 41/39. I never have the A7 loaded with more than two people and two dogs. I think 41-41 is my sweet spot. Take my TPs with a grain of salt, Your tires are 20mm narrower - with car about same gross weight

Just replaced my OEM Pirelli P Zero's with the Conti Extreme Contact DWS. I have 255/35/20's on my 2012 Prestige w S-line. I initially loved the Pirelli's for the traction, but could not stand the noise as they wore, and found they were getting jittery (or would track or pull) on worn roadway surfaces. Performance in the rain was poor, forget about snow - bambi could corner better.

My review (after one drive on the Conti's) is the noise level is substantially reduced (but still not super quiet?), the traction while cornering is very good - a slight feeling of give in the tire compared to the P Zero's, and the overall feel is very true and stable. I will update after a longer road trip but so far I am happy that I read the reviews and followed the advice of the many!

Updating my previous review of the new Conti DWS - after a few longer drives on the new Conti's they are noticeably quieter than the stock Pirelli's. I would rate the Pirelli's a 6/10 for noise and the DWS 8.5 - a vast improvement if you enjoy some quiet on a nice long highway trip.

I absolutely recommend these tires if you prefer to corner on all 4 wheels. If you prefer 2 wheeled cornering stick with P Zero's.
