Hi guys! I am new to the forum and wanted to ask anyone about shipment time for factory orders once they have completed production. I placed my order for an A6 TDI Prestige on July 8th. I received an email today stating that my order has been built and is now in the dock and is being scheduled for shipment to the US. As you can see, I am extremely excited now so I would be greatful if anyone can share the average time of shipment. (I am from San Diego, Ca.)

I ordered my A6 Quattro Premium Plus 3.0 on 7/5/14.
Arrived at the dealer on Tuesday afternoon.
Picking it up tomorrow (Friday) morning

Thanks Ski! I just hope mine will be delivered soon as well but the email that I received today from Audi says that it has completed production and on the dock for shipment. So I am assuming another 4 -5 weeks to get to the US Westcoast!

Your salesperson should be able to provided date estimates from his system. It would show approx. ship, arrival in port and dealer arrival dates. Once you know the actual ship date, you can find the ship and track it on a map departing Germany and once it gets near North America. Here's info on how to track it.

Looks like you might have missed the cut-off date for the factory August vacation closure, and that my car just made it.
That 3 day order difference may equal a month of waiting.

Sorry, but I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
