The OP should check the VIN to see what month it was made - lol

Hi all,
The seats are Comfort seats with Audi exclusive leather, so I chose the color combination of the seats and door panels leather. The seats are fully electric, with heating and ventilation but without massage function. I do not have lane assist camera as I did not choose this feature/option when I ordered the car.
The seats have survived 3 summers, but failed on the fourth. I am not sure that this is an anomaly, as both seats backs failed and the dealer service guy said that he saw this happening a lot.
I tried using "Scotch Extreme Mounting Tape" (attached pics) as I had a roll laying around. It did not work as it does not stick strongly on plastics. I should try the VHB 3M and I will definitely check auto upholstery shops for a fix.

If it doesn't hold, I fixed both of mine using an epoxy with 48 hour pressure applied using a 2"x4" wedged between the plastic front seat back and the back seat, with a large wooden block on both ends of the 2"x4" to protect the plastic and especially the back seat from marks and indentations. My dealer only offered to replace the entire seat! Car is MY 2007 and seats were epoxyed in 2011 and still holding firmly with no gaps anywhere.

The driver's seat back separated on me too but, I feel it was my fault. I'm a big guy and tend to fall back into my seat when getting into the car. I'm sure over time I managed to loosen the grip of the glue until it finally gave out. This happened in an A4 with many miles on it. I just glued it back.
