Class: Is there a sunglass holder on the A6 or A7? For extra credit: If not, why not?

There is (above the windshield) but it will only fit sleek sunglasses that fold up small.

There isn't one in my car. I use the compartment just forward of the gear shift lever for sunglasses.

are you sure? It is located in the console that controls the sunroof - a small storage area that when pressed opens up.

I too use the compartment near the gear shift leave as they don't fit in the sunglass compartment.

I am sure you have one near the sunroof controls. It's very small.

No, I believe it only comes on Prestige (Tecknic in Canada) trim level cars.

I do not have one in my '13 A6 Premium Plus; I did have one in my 2010 A6 Premium Plus. A victim of de-contenting/cost saving? Or, maybe Audi thinks only Prestige drivers wear sunglasses?

I can't imagine that the trim piece incorporating the sunglass holder is significantly more expensive than the one without. You've had them both. What do you think?
