Default a6 suspension upgrades

Hi, what kind of suspension upgrades does Audi offer as factory options? Also, are there any popular aftermarket suspension upgrades that a6 enthusiasts tend to gravitate towards? I recently test drove an a6 and my biggest gripe was the fact that the car seemed to rock front-to-back when I applied the brakes, even in sport mode.

I recently totaled my last vehicle and I've been driving a Ford Fusion rental and it doesn't have the same rocking back and forth behavior as an Audi A6. Any idea what the easiest way is to fix the rocking back and forth behavior in the Audi A6?

You can install the factory Sport springs which are a bit stiffer and lower than non-sport.
Lower profile, stiffer tires may help as well compared to say, the 18in tires. I got the sport springs with 20in wheels, and i don't have any back and forth rocking.
Sport-mode in the tranny has no impact on suspension - at least on the N.American A6 cars.

There are several aftermarket suspension options (springs, coilovers) you will find if you search the forum.

This thread reminded me of the AutoBlog report last November: “Audi has introduced innovative fiberglass coil springs on the A6, which save weight and are more durable (they cannot corrode), but they are initially only going be offered on the Avant while the automaker ramps up production. In the meantime, sedan owners will have to make do with traditional steel springs as part of a MacPherson front strut and multi-link rear suspension setup.”
Anyone have an update or any idea whether we in the US will see fiberglass springs in 2016 A6’s?

I got the front-to-back rocking on the s-line with 19" wheels. I'll check out aftermarket options but want to be careful not to potentially impact the quattro dynamics.

I have a C7 3.0 TDI Quattro S-Line.

I'm interested in going a little lower, possibly with H+R springs on standard shocks. Although I've read that the S-Line already comes as standard around - 25mm..

So not sure if the H+R springs will have much benefit??

So I downloaded the myAudi app & registered my A6 C7 S-Line. Mine comes up that it has "sports suspension".

I've purchased some H & R Sport springs. Will have installed nxt wk with some new FK 15mm spacers also. Hope the new springs help the car sit a little lower, although I'm a little doubtful.

Pics to follow...
