Did you try doing it again? Could just be a glitch on boot up.

Yes i did change things in vag com but nothing towards the ac

I did play with some of the stuff on the green menu but i cant seems to see which one changed it.....

First of all, does all the A6s have those settings? I didnt see it in the owners menu

Maybe some can share the carconfig setting with me from the green menu?

First rule of making changes:

Write down what was.

Second rule of making changes:

Write down what is.

I don't think that you need an explanation as to why.

As you now know, there are hundreds of changes that could be made and some of them are undocumented so it is very difficult to know what was changed. Do you know, at least, which category was changed?

As a note, the MMI Screen Shot capability is very handy in this regard!

For the OP:
1) Please give us all the information in your request - saying "I lost the menu after a reboot!" after mucking around with the engineering menu is like a bank robber saying "The police unexpectedly arrested me!"

2) As DB22 pointed out, this is an extremely difficult hunt unless you tell us which menus you modified. You're going to need an exactly-matched or similarly-matched car to compare menus with and go through them one by one - unless you can narrow things down.

What were you trying to accomplish and where did you make changes?

I know (amateur mistake on my part)

I am pretty sure that the change was in the green menu not VAG com that caused it....

and all of the changes is done under Carconfig and sub menu of that.....

In the green menu, under Carconfig or CarMenuOperation, I cant recall which one exactly, change the position for the AC Menu to 5. I betcha it is at 0.

That's not where OP says he fiddled, but yes, sounds plausible:
