I do recall an adaptation channel which looked like it would enable ACC to resume from a full stop without driver input. It's on my list of "things to fiddle with someday"....

I find that tapping the accelerator or a quick pull on the ACC lever is a major inconvenience and a lot of unnecessary effort so I'm eagerly awaiting the results of your VCDS findings.

The video also states that the hi-res camera in the mirror does recognize lane change indication of adjacent vehicles. It must differentiate the amber from the red of brakes or lights which in this country is going to be an issue so they probably deleted that attribute here. Maybe a VCDS mod is brewing here?

If youa re referring to the piece about 2:40 in, I think he was just flashing his lights tot he other car to move off. As far as I know all the cruise functions are on the smaller stalk
