Hey people i know this might be out of the norm but i'm considering it.
I'm thinking about removing the ACC sensors in the lower grilles of my bumper and replace them with regular black ones without the sensor holes..

my question is do you think i'll set off a code or have to deactivate in vcds?
at first i wanted the option but now as i look at the car and the RS6 i think it looks better without.

I think you will lose cruise control and devalue the car.

+1 on a future value hit. In addition to losing ACC, you will lose presense front and braking guard (and possibly other functions as well). And yes, without making various code changes in VCDS, faults will be popping up all over the place. If you ever want to reinstall them later, be prepared for a $1000 realignment of the sensors.
It doesn't make much sense to pay for the convenience and safety features only to remove them for cosmetic reasons. But hey, it's your car.
