Airbags

With the recalls in the headlines I am wondering if our A6's have Takata airbags. Anyone know? BMW has them, but BMW is not Audi - I am hoping.

No. Audi is not listed in any of the published recall lists. Rest easy - you are unlikely to be dodging shrapnel.

Audi is recalling 850,000 A4's for faulty airbags. But that is for a software correction, not the Takata problem. The A6 was not involved in that recall (so far....)
