I'm driving a 2013 X3 and have settled on replacing it with a sedan. On paper, the 3.0T (non-sport) looks like the ideal mix of characteristics for me. I have not yet, however, driven one. That is something I plan to do in the next day or two. Before I do that, I'd be curious to know if any of you in a C7 have had reason to drive an X3 (F25) and may have an idea as to what differences I might expect in terms of performance, tech, ride noise and ride comfort.
Would possibly consider the 2016 Q5/SQ5 as an option, but don't like the fact that a brand new factory will be manufacturing them.

My wife drives a 2015 X3 xDrive35i. She picked it over the Q5, mostly due to the dated interior and lower performance. The X3 is a really nice vehicle but I don't think I'd drive one every day if an A6 was in the mix.

What it really comes down to though is what you want from your next vehicle.

Same as mine, xDrive35i. I know the S6 is a different animal, but how would you compare the S6 to her X3 (not including performance)?

I have driven both and own a 2014 A6 TDI. Apples and oranges. Two very different animals. I predict you will fall deeply in love with the A6 3.0 TFSI and never look back.
