Audi A6 headlights?

You could probably source pre-Facelift RS6 headlights on the German e-Bay site. However whether they are plug compatible with a car with North America (I am assuming you are in NA) spec wiring and car software programming is something you would need to check before you buy as they won't be cheap. Post facelift cars have lights that are a slightly different shape so will not fit into a pre facelift car

Off topic: tenspeed, is that your car in the pic? If so are you running LED turn signals? I've been trying to find some bright Amber LED bulbs but couldn't find any.

The brightest LED bulbs are usually the ones with the highest number of diodes. I say "usually" because diodes come in different sizes. 5050 and 3528 are commonly used in automotive lights and the units are micro meters.
When searching, look for the type of base that is required. Usually it's a 3156 or a 3157 (flat plastic base which snaps in) for most cars but Audi might use something different - maybe a 1156 or 1157 (circular metal base with offset index pins). The next parameter is the number of diodes. More diodes make the lamp longer so make sure that you have room between the socket and the lens. An incandescent lamp throws a lot of light and it would be hard and expensive to find a LED that matches the 27 watt output. I do understand the desire to change the lamps and I have LED's in my GM DD headlights. I kept the incandescents in the rear since they can't be seen through the red lenses.
I have also saved some links about LED error free circuits that you may useful.

Sorry, that's not my car. It was from a thread about modifying headlights. I saved it because in other pictures it showed the various parts of the disassembled headlight.
