For US cars:
Question 1: "TO ACTIVATE THE REAR PARKING LIGHTS" this is referring to the EU style parking light on one side of the car via the turn signal stalk??
Question 2: The 3 segment light in the middle is the Reverse White Light on the left, the Rear Fog Light ight on the right... but what is in the middle?? I can't get it to light up; it appears to be a white light?

Hi Guys.
I'm trying to do same conversion US => EU on A7 my2014.
I have my tail EU lights already installed.
I was able to get my light to work with EU law but still internal turning light is not working.
I cannot confirm which channel is related to this internal turn signal and what coding is needed.
Any ideas?

When I tried to get to this I put the security code that vag com provides, but the channels you list were not available, the security code I used was different than the one you posted.. Does that make a difference?

Any chance when you were fooling around you figured out where the setting / coding is for the dash lights? On My - SQ headlights off DRL's are on by default, the dash starts with backlighting, but then turns off. I prefer them to be on and typically run my parking lights to solve it. Sure would be nice to just let the DRLs do it.

I still a little bit confused here but - what does all the programming achieve? Is it just to disable the tiny little LED that is on the outer side of the tail lights (the LED that you can see if you are facing the side of the car)?

I tried tackling it a couple months ago on my 2013 A4 and found the Outer lights (EU Signal/Brake lights) are coded as 1 channel in the US. You are right, it's mostly due to the fact we have side market light using the extra channel. Is there anyway we can separate them so the light matches the EU ones?
