Ditto...Love my Aviator Blue! I cant tell you how many people comment on the unique color. I do feel that it is a love it or hate it color. I had a buddy ask me after purchase if I thought the good deal I received on the car was due to the color. I assume he isn't a fan. oh well...

I think I prefer Moonlight Blue to Aviator, but I don't hate Aviator. To me it is just a tad too washed out (dull) looking, similar to Utopia Blue. That being said, I really dislike the bold, garish blues like Sepang and Scuba - they do nothing for me. To me they look like an American muscle car color on a Challenger or Mustang. The rarity of Aviator is a plus for sure. I really liked my 2010 A6 in what I think they called Night Blue Pearl Effect - it was close to Black, but more sophisticated I thought.

My old 05 4.2 was also in Night Blue Pearl Effect. I agree that it was a great color.

Aviator Blue with the Titanium Gray interior. I love the look of the light interior.

Wife loved the A6's we looked at, but ALL had black interior. It's in the 80's-90's for most of the year here, so black leather was out for her (OK, ventilated seats could have been an option).

In rolled this car and we bought it on the spot.

I just bought an Aviator Blue/Titanium Gray '15. It's great to read this thread regarding how rare this color is. I've probably looked at 100 A6's over the last couple of weeks online and in person, and this car was the ONLY Aviator Blue car I came across. I didn't even know the color existed until I saw it.

This will be my 3rd A6 and my current one is an '04 4.2. I always liked the fact that the 4.2 was fairly rare. Actually A6's are fairly rare period where I live. Knowing I couldn't get the V8 any longer without blowing my budget on an S7, I was looking for a more unusual color combo and it looks like I found it with the new car.

Will post pics when she arrives and the 4.2 will be going up for sale at the same time.

Question: Which film manufacturer and shade look good with Aviator Blue ? I have heard of this Air Blue 80 which works for the front windows, not sure if there is a similar shade with 20% tint for the rest of the car so that they all match.
