Very serious issue occurred today. I have the 12 A6 CVT bought brand new almost three years ago. Car has 20k miles and is barely used only for road trips and grocery runs. I had a small issue where the transmission kind of bucks in reverse was told this is normal still had dealer check it.

Got the car back last week.

Drove the car yesterday on a 140 mile trip was fine but felt like the transmission slipped once or twice. Today my mom is driving and the at breaks down on a busy 4 lane road. Car wouldn't move in gear at all she calls me. I quickly run over to where she is.

So when the car was in D it simply would not move would just rev to 2k. I turned it on and off put it in D it started moving very slowly making all sorts of noise then it broke down again halfway into the turn. I put it in N and had to push it while dozens of people watched. Pushed it to in front of a plaza. Turned car off for 20 min and started it and now it's fine. Problem is if this occurs again on the highway or something it could be beyond dangerous. My sister takes this car to school hours away and in the middle of nowhere. Another issue is no fault error is stored. I know audi will say they can't replicate it. Any advice?
