BOSE Quality is much improved with MMI 814
Just had my T-Mobile radio swapped and in the process they upgraded my MMI from 609 to 814. I didn't really think much about it but started listening to the radio and what a difference. Better channel separation, better bass response without booming and over all much cleaner sound. It also seems to get quite a bit louder when pushing the volume up to the point I didn't feel comfortable going above 30 in testing it.
It was such a difference that there is no way I am imagining it. Anyone else upgrade beyond 609 notice the same thing?
Such a nice surprise that I am wondering what other awesome surprises are in store for me.

I had mine upgraded to 814 as well and did notice better sound and more bass coming from the stereo. You now get Google Maps to show a picture of the building/place where you are heading to during Navigation mode under Audi Connect.

Check your manual. There's a setting to view the system version. It's in the MMI settings as I recall (upper right function button on the main screen). Only the dealer can update your MMI version and they are reluctant to do under warranty so as they are not reimbursed by Audi unless there is a fix for a reported issue.

Given the difficulty of getting my local dealer to update my MMI without some additional references to an actual problem, any chance you post your service invoice from that visit? That usually helps persuade them.
