C7 "Hidden" Gems List
#183
Would hope this works (a nice feature if your mirror gets hit). I am not willing to try it. I believe that the manual suggests using the automated folding in setting when going through a car wash which makes me think they are not flexible (kind of like me but stretching probably won't help your mirror).
Has anyone tried/verified pushing the side mirrors in the other direction to try the tip 4 posts back? I hate to sound selfish, but I'm not really up for possibly moving the mirrors on my brand new car manually in a direction that they may not have been intended to move. With a motorized mirror assembly, this seems a bit risky.

All of them with LEDs do this (I have a '12 that does) - they're called adaptive cornering lights. Not much of a 'hidden gem' (they're advertised as doing such) but agree that they're cool nonetheless.

True, not "hidden" (it's clearly described in the manual) but still a "gem". The small diamond shaped lights located under the LED healight strips are actually called "Static Cornering lights" and each will switch on automatically when the steering wheel is turned at a certain angle at speeds up to 44 mph or when the turn signal is activated at speeds up to about 25 mph. Both lights can also be turned on manually by pressing the upper button to the left side of the headlight selector switch on the dash.

Hadn't found this in the manual, but noticed my volume on NAV prompts while driving was extremely low and difficult to hear. Finally found the volume control by pressing the Info button on the steering wheel - which causes her to state next comment. While she is talking, simply turning the volume wheel changes the navigation volume.
