Anybody getting C pillar noises?
Thanks for the heads up on getting these dealt with quickly. I have my 5k service soon and thought we'd check into the C pillar.

For those with the noise, how frequent and how noticeable? I've got a creak in one pillar. Sounds like loose trim snap, but nothing in the area wiggles at all, nothing creaks when you grab the trim pieces in the pillar, headliner or door. Also, mine only comes on pretty sharp bumps on the same side of the car as the noise. Quiet otherwise.

Mine was just fixed. Wasn't the mounts like the TSB said, just an improperly installed bushing.

Is the noise you were experiecning coming from the bushing or interior trim?

My noise sounds like trim, but I'm not expert.

We didn't know where it was coming from. We just knew it was coming from the left rear corner. Thats why the first dealer thought it was the shocks or mounts. Unfortunately, they didn't bother taking it apart to check. Second dealer did, and they found the bad bushing. Sound is gone for now, so that seems to have been the problem.

Just got my S6 back from shop. Had a subtle noise in the rear, thought it was the rear shelf but after riding in the back seat with the other side down I could tell it was coming from the trunk. turned out to be worn upper shock mounts. Both sides were replaced under warranty and the noise is gone. Bill shows reference to Bulletin 2029953/3, I assume that relates to this.

This thread hasn't been updated in a year and a half. Are you folks aware of any more TSBs and any links to them for A6/S6? Thanks!
