I noticed mine rattling a lot when I was talking to someone on the phone. The radio rare produced the same noise.
I took it to the dealer and they replaced the center vents and added some dampening material to it somewhere.
It didn't completely stop but it quieted it down a lot.

I have the Bose system and have/had this issue ever since I got the car. Did two trips to dealer. After the first one they applied some dampening material around the speaker but that didn't address the problem.
The second time they told me the resonance was coming off the speaker itself, not anything around it, so they replaced the speaker. That made it a little better but didn't solve it.
At the end I gave up. The entire sound system is sub par to begin with.

I have this problem too and like others its with talk radio. Has anyone tried the felt idea and do you have instructions on how to do this OR is this something the dealer can do?
Thanks,
Ed

Had the same issue, particularly noticable when listening to talk radio and during phone calls. Dealer fixed it under warranty, combination of replacing the speaker and MMI upgrade. Issue completely resolved. Don't attempt the felt thing if still under warranty, let dealer fix it!
