My 2012 A7 Prestige has oval LED lights in the door sills. All but the front passenger side are out. Has anyone had a similar issue? If so, has anyone found it to be bad bulbs or an electrical issue?

Two of mine were out
I forgot to add that to the known issues thread before the warranty expires
Is your car still under warranty or your car is one of the very early ones ? If so the dealer will replace them

Car is still under warranty. I asked about it briefly during a state inspection, and they said if it was a bulb they probably wouldn't cover it... I've hear differing opinions on this. given that they are LED and 3/4 of them are out.. I doubt they just "burned out".

Agreed, they are covered. I had half the driver's door sill go dark and they replaced the entire sill..no questions asked. I don't think you can replace just a bulb..its all one piece.

Same thing....half the sills, both front and rear, on the driver's side were out and replaced under warranty.

i too have one of mine out and will be taking it in to get it fixed/replaced.

Is it me or do the 2016 A6 Door Sills don't light up? Is that the same case with S-Line door sills?

No I have the premium plus. Do they only light up on the Prestige in the U.S.? In Germany and Asia, all the door sills light up...

Little tiny things like that put the finishing touches to a good car.
