How does the Start-Stop-System start the engine
After stopping the engine with the car at a stop, as soon as I release the Brake Pedal the engine quickly starts, but it doesn't seem to be engaging the Starter motor. Maybe it just injects fuel and sparks a cylinder or two that have just completed the compression stroke. Comment or Correction.
Thanks

It simply combines a fairly standard claw-pole starter motor with a AGM battery that is more resilient to deeper discharges than a standard lead-acid battery. No rocket science here.

Thanks for clarifying that for me. Since the car starts so quickly, I thought maybe some special technique was being used so as not to put too much wear and tear on the battery or starter motor. It's satisfying that AGM and a Long-life starter is being used.
