Driver Seat Wear
My passenger seat is rarely used and looks perfect, but when I look at my driver seat after 16,000 miles it just looks janky. Not cracked, but just looks worn, not nice dark black. The ventilation holes don't seem as well defined. Hard to explain and I'm not sure a picture could do it justice.
I've tried leather cleaner stuff and it helps marginally.
My A4 looked like new after 35,000 miles.
How are your seats holding up?

Prestige Driver's seat left bolster has a few very slight creases, but overall seat looks great--17,000+ miles. I suggest you get these two "Leatherique" products. Here's one way to go:

When the dealer gives you a hard time about replacing it...remind them you bought an Audi for premium leather seating and you could have bought a KIA if you didn't want it to last.
I had a dealer replace a drivers seat in a firebird that prematurely wore. They didn't want to do it until I used that guilt tactic!

That looks like a wallet mark. Do you drive with your wallet in back pocket? If so, the answer could be yes, it's expected wear. It's not evenly distributed wear that I'm seeing, so it could be hard to argue that it's premature wear.

I do keep a wallet in my back pocket, this has never been a problem in any of my other Audis. More to the point, the patchiness that you see in that area is not even my biggest concern. My bigger concern is the overall condition of the seat on both the seat and the seat back. The entire seat is shiny and "cracky" all over. It is not cracked or split, but the two seats look like they are from different cars.
