Extended Warranty (Wrap) for 2015 A6 Premium Plus - $2k worth it? 6 yr/50k past manf
Hello - I am a newbie and this is my first time owning/posting on anything Audi related. If I am not supposed to pose this q here, please do let me know and my apologies in advance!
I bought a 2015 Premium Plus with 4 yr / 50k bumper to bumper from Audi and a 10 yr/100k Powertrain warranty from the Dealer.
So when the dealer asked if I would like to purchase extended warranty I was confused.
He said that Protective Asset Protection sells a product called CostGuard "WRAP" which covers non powertrain related issues from year 5 to 10 or until 100k miles.
He said cost of it is $1900 and usually it's more like 5-6k. I called AAA and they quoted me $3.5k for it.
So... Is this a no-brainer? Or do you have any experience with this company or this 'WRAP' product?
TRULY appreciate your response in advance!

They get your money up front and make you a big promise.
That's not my idea of a wise purchase.
They have no interest in your customer satisfaction.
If it was a Audi warranty and NOT a third party you might consider it, but no way would I do this with a 3rd party!
Those companies come and go with alacrity.
