Get yer' Prepaid Audi Connect!

It really comes down to two factors; if you plan on keeping the car for at least the 36 months and like the convenience of pay once and play whenever and however much you like without worrying about usage tracking or payment hassles, the T-Mobile direct prepaid $15 @ month for 30 months is probably the best option. If you are intent on possibly saving a few bucks, plan to use Audi Connect judiciously and don't mind tracking usage and payments for 3 years, one of the T-Mobile alternative sim providers might be the option for you. I'm in the first group. Pay once and fagettaboutit.

My Lycamobile stopped working so I logged on line and got nowhere except that my account still had money in it. So I called CS and referenced to the on line site to a note saying that people will have to upgrade to the + program and that the pay as you go option is no longer available.
Any body else tried their Lycamobile in the last few days?

I didn't read the entire thread but have you guys tried Simple Mobile. It's a prepaid service that runs on T-Mobile's network. I tried it for a month ($40 unlimited everything plan) and it works very well. No contract.

With the 2016 A6, I would need to get an ATT sim with their $16/month plan, although it is LTE.

T-Mobile offers a free for life iPad data plan. Can I use this with my Audi sim? How about a phone and data plan with unlimited calling, text, data for $10/month from T-Mobile?

I think iPad and iPhone SIM cards are proprietary to Apple and leased to the service provider... At least with AT&T... Not the same size as the SIM card in my a6.
