My car was delivered with an "11.2013" version, I've seen an "05.2013" version as well - both with [ETA:*almost*] the same part number!

Seriously, WTF Audi? It's not bad enough to only have paper manuals and no PDF manuals<s>, but you won't even differentiate them by part #</s>?

Ok, mea culpa, so I missed it, there actually IS a different part #:

"05.2013" is 141.561.4G0.23
"11.2013" is 142.561.4G0.23

If you order from the Audi literature site, it appears you can only get the "05.2013" version... I'm trying to find out how/when I can get another "11.2013" one.

Not sure why this is a big deal. The differences are probably very minor such as spelling or syntax corrections. Audi has revisions within a series all the time. My manual from 2012 doesn't appear to be outdated.

{Emphasis mine}

Because I'm a retentive engineer Bad enough I have to pay $50 atop an $80K car to get a manual to keep in the glovebox and one to read sitting at my computer. Worse to pay that for an older version which may or may not accurately depict my car's features. I'd have a hard time arguing if they sent me a NEWER manual, but I can't pay for an older one - and given that it's 9 months or so since the printing date, I can't really stomach being shipped older stock.

You may well be right, the differences may well be minimal, but I shouldn't have to figure that out....

I do like the A8 manual pouch as suggested by AudiEnthusiasts.COM though!
