I understand the discussion, but being able to see through the vehicle in front of me is not something I worry about or loose any sleep over. Yes it's preferred as are many other issues out there.

One reason why I finally gave up and got an SUV (excuse me, CUV) that blocks the road like every other vehicle out there.

Remember boys and girls, check your State DMV for the the window tint laws and never, ever give Officer Friendly an excuse to pull you over.

Wise advice. Whenever I get tints I follow this. It's not for everyone but gives this guy some peace of mind.

My wife's allroad was purchased 13 years ago in CO with an after market tint. Now in MA, it's over the legal limit by about 5%. She has never been stopped but each year I had a hassle finding a shop that would pass it for inspection until i found one that doesn't check it like they're required to. So far so good.
