Just had mine installed last nite. I got it from autoanything.com they price matched NOPI which was 202 shipped to CA

I found something at home depot to close the 1in gap between the filter/intake and the box. is a piece of hard plastic ring that's the same size from the plumbing dept. had to paint it black (they only come in white) will post picts later tonite

hmm that's odd, I just went on autoanything.com and didn't see one available for our cars ('12 A6). Unless their fitment guide is screwed up, when I put in the year/make/model it said they only had replacement filters available...any insight? $202 shipped is a screamin' deal.

Try looking under 12/A7. It will fit in an A6 but is not listed for the A6 at most sites that sell it.

Yep you have to tell em that you have an A7 (I spent 20 mins trying to explain to the rep that the A7 and A6 is the same and it will fit...I had to call the order in since I am doing a price match)

so is done! note the piece of round plastic I was taking about $4 at home depot fits well (need to drill 2 small holes and zip tie to hold....it actually fits pretty well even without the zip ties, but just in case)

Just wanted to resurrect this thread and let the forum know - if anyone else is wanting to do this mod soon like me, Amazon has it for $212 w/ free shipping (but not prime).

Made the plunge. Ordered the INJEN cold air intake. Now the only question is boxed or unboxed. Is there anyone who is using the INJEN without a box long term? If so - what are the results?

I kept the box. The previous owner of it said he experience heat soak so he suggested I leave the box on.
