To try and answer your questions, the A6 C7 has been overall a very reliable car. I've not had any significant issues in my 4 years of ownership. My Prestige seats have held up very well; no cracks. You should dive in to the A6 C7 forum - there is a wealth of info from many contributor owners of the car. (BTW, it's not necessary to include someone's photos when quoting another's post - it makes it harder for all to follow the threads).

And yet here we are, a mere couple of days later, and Dan has responded to VR6's inquiry about long-term ownership. It may come as a shock to you, but many forum members rarely post, yet they visit AW often and gain quite a bit of valuable information here. That includes me. In fact, I found this info helpful.

Not only do I not want it to die, I appreciate it being resurrected since I've only had my C7 for a year and I, like many others, like to hear about the ups and downs of long-term ownership.
