Minimum volumes
Hi,
Somewhere in the MMI, there is a screen where you can set the minimum volumes of things like the navigation voice. I know because I have come across it before.
I want to set the minimum volume for the music/radio. I have already done this by setting it low, but I want to lower it to zero.
I just cannot find it now.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

JM - took me a while to find it as well, but here is the answer: while in radio, press "Settings". Next, select the "Sound Settings" option. Next, select the "Navigation" option (note: not the NAV button, but the option from the four "changeable" buttons surrounding the MMI ****).
You should see the option for "Music volume during Nav prompts" listed on the screen.
Also, note that the Navigation system must be loaded (ready to use) in order for the "Navigation" screen to be accessible in the steps above. The screen will not be accessible otherwise.

Thanks.
And doing this will mean that when I turn the ignition on I won't hear the radio - which always comes on irrespective of whether I turned it off when I was last in the car?
I'll try it.
I have a feeling though this all needs to be done in what has been called the 'Green Menu', which is hidden and requires an Audi technician to plug something thing to activate. then you reduce the minimum volume to zero and hey presto, no radio when you first get in the car in the morning - its there but you cant hear it.
Regards,
J
