Mirror Turn Signal Corner Light Lamp A6 2013
My driver Side Mirror Turn Signal is acting strange, When start the car I get the warning on dashboard when I go to inspect the light is much dimmer than the other one and after some time it kicks in to full brightest. It all appeared to happen after the car wash last night. Are these lights LED ? Are they easy to replace maybe it just got lose connection, or maybe it indicated that it will die soon ? does any one have any suggestions or DIY instructions how could I troubleshot it without calling the dealer ?
Edit: I just remember I got this warning once before car wash and ignored it because looked at headlight not mirror.
EDIT: They replace the turn signal light they said it was broken and water got in. .... I took the car home and than I noticed brightens difference between replaced one and then the original one. Bring the car again. They replaced the good one to mach the brightens. Original one was slightly brighter. Driving home side assist don't work sharp u turn and the guy reconnects the cable in the mirror drive thru style.

That's a sure thing, the reason I'm asking is that I'm kinda of DIY guy and even for the future it would be nice to know. The dealer can see me week from now I guess we find out then.

To trouble shoot, remove the sail panel and unplug the connection. Determine which wires power the LEDs and check the voltage with a DVM. Plug and unplug the connection several times to clean the contacts. Apply some dielectric grease to seal them from the elements.
