Yeah, It finalized. I used Aimersoft DVD creator. Always worked fine on my e92 M3. It plays fine everywhere else... I tried burning again to a different disk.. same thing.

All I can suggest then is to try a different brand of disc. Sometimes one type is just incompatible with whatever laser they use.

Also try -R and +R as it used to be that -R was more compatible but it's a crapshoot these days. (No personal experience with the MMI system.)

This dvd plays fine on the pc and regular dvd players. Is there a specific format I'm supposed to be burning dvd's for an audi?
Did you make sure the DVD was formatted as a DVD Video? Also it might be a dual layer problem, could be the reader in the Audi may have issues reading burnt dual layer media?

Yup. Like I said, it works everywhere else... the cheap 30$ Samsung dvd player plays it just fine. I tried a bought DVD in the car and that works fine... so it must be either dual layer issue or it doesn't like DVD+R. Sucks.

I did manage to get videos to play through my SD card.. so I guess i'll just load them in there. Do you guys think it will support 128GB SD card? I know the manual says up to 64... but has anyone tried 128gb? 2 of those and I'd be set for life HA!

Thanks

I have tried a 128gb SD card, and it wasn't recognized by the MMI.

The first post says 32GB is the largest card supported.

Which makes sense as 128GB is SDXC (as is 64GB) and an SDHC device wouldn't likely recognize that. (Though I do see some references to 64GB SDXC working in some SDHC devices when formatted FAT32 - I have no personal experience.)
