A 2012 European spec car should have a version of the firmware recent enough to support Album artwork. My own car is a May 2012 build and it is fine with artwork via AMI.

Are you certain you have AMI? It is not a default if you have 3G+. Easy check is that it has the AMI socket in the rear of the storage area under the front armrest whilst non-AMI spec cars have a 3.5mm jack.

For the cover it needeed an 4F0 051 510 R.....
But my MMI is 3G with HDD (and not a 3G+)
So this is my question : it is possible to have the cover with MMI3G ?

Cover Art in MMI
I struck a new glitch with the MMI on my new 2014 A6 Prestige that it took me a while to solve.
I buy most of my music on iTunes and then copy the files to a SD card and play it from there. This always worked great for purchases until late last week when cover art stopped displaying for most new purchases. I could see the art embedded in the tags of the music files but they wouldn't display on the cars screen.
It turns out that the issue is that much new music in iTunes is being released with 1400 x 1400 pixel cover art, which is outside the specs for the car. My solution has been to copy the art from one file to Paint, reduce pixel size to 600 x 600, then select all tracks of the album, right click and "get info" then paste in the new (smaller) image. It works, but is a pain!
