Default Fully Zomm GPS 30 yd only ?

Hello all,
y'day i tried one of my friend's Tmobile sim in my car and i have few doubts.

1. with active sim you can only Zoom to 30 yds ?
2. Street view only works while the car is not moving ? you can move the car while you have street view, but then its not moving realtime..correct?

1. Nav map maximum zoom level is to the 30 yards scale with and without T-Mobile activated; built-in map or Google Earth overlay scales are the same.

2. Correct.

Really? I don't have the 566 version but I didn't know you must stop to see the street view, so what is the point? Hope there is a red light before you reach your destination? Or actually pulled over?

I believe the point is to preview a destination in advance so you can know what it looks like before you arrive. I would imagine it was designed this way as a safety issue as it takes a bit of centering and fiddling on the map to find and zero in on a street view location - not something a driver would want to do while driving.

What about darcivic00si post in this thread., it looks to me he is actually driving and quoting him " shows a picture of tour final destination as you get closer"

As I reported in that same thread, I haven't been able to reproduce the automatic street view of a destination as he shows. I'm guessing it's only available outside of North America, i.e. Europe.
