Default New Boots for comfort test

I have been vocal regarding the ride of 20's/Sport/PZeros so I decided to test my theory with 245 45 18 Pirelli P7's. My PZeros had 27K on them and have about 10k miles left in them.
The biggest differences are that the car is not as direct in its transient response to steering input and the pounding on every freeway joint is gone. So far, I like the compromise.

Are wheels 18x 8.0J with about ET39-ET40?
I love the way the 20" wheels look on the car but ride...not trilled about it.

18 x 8 35mm offset. My original setup was the same as yours but unfortunately the Germans assumed that US roads are built to much higher standards.

The only way that this combination could be called a luxury sport sedan is by having the option of the adjustable suspension. BTW - the Germans have that too.

I have only driven 43 miles on the new setup so I'm holding for a while until I decide to sell or keep.

Let me know if you've decided to sell them. I'm taking the chance knowing the fact that NJ roads blow.

I think you are going in the right direction. Regular suspension with 20 inch wheels.
I'll let you know the verdict but I'm loathe to give up to track curves like I'm on rails with the 20's.

40% better in ride, haven't tested cornering yet.

Pirelli cinty P7's.

Fine then! (was hoping for a smaller number so I can stop secretly looking around for 18s! 40% is massive, I'll have to see if I can try one first. Car is in for service tomorrow, we'll see if I have a pick from the loaner's lot...)

I wish I did not like the 20" as much, would have been a no brainer...
Thanks for the report and taking the plunge!
