New Owner!
Bought a 2016 A6 Quattro 2.0T + S-line sport package + a few other options last week. Loving it so far, that 2.0T was more powerful than I expected. Really happy so far!
At first, I didn't know what to think of the auto-start/stop thing to save gas. It was great at times and annoying at others. I know there's a button to turn it off. Where it really started to shine was when I figured out you could control it via brake pressure.
I started to figure it out on accident, and after a few trips around town in the car I decided that "light brake" pressure bringing the car to a stop did not activate it, but hard pressure did. Then, I figured "hey, maybe the car is making the same decisions I am, and pressure has nothing to do with it." Looked it up in the manual, and sure enough, you do light braking to not activate it and heavy pressure to activate it. Since then, the feature is very useful. Surprised the sales person didn't point it out.
Anyway, this is my first Audi, so I decided to step in a little lightly. If this car continues to be awesome for the next few years I'll upgrade to the more powerful engine or S6 when the next redesign comes through!

Enjoy! I have a 2016 A6 2.0T on order as well. I was also impressed with the output and refinement of the new 4 cyl engine. The bad news is mine will not arrive until December.

Congrats and welcome.
I have owned VW's before but had a negative bias towards the Audis based on my experience with the VW.
I recently purchased a C7 3.0T as well and i am beyond impressed with everything in the car and its leaps and bounds ahead of the VWs.
I share your sentiment and may purchase another audi when time comes to replace this one.
Cheers
