OEM Wheels - 18" to 19" / 20"
I currently have a 2013 A6 Prestige with 18" wheels. Living in lower New York ( Long Island) we do get snow and even worse... horrible pot holes with last winter being the worst I remember in quite awhile. For this reason I plan on keeping the 18" wheels as my winter combination and placing winter tires on them. I would get a second set for April though November of 19/20" wheels.
I have been looking for 19" or 20" OEM A6 wheels such as these of eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-GENUINE-...-/290905825361 and have a question. Will these wheels ( or 20") be a direct attachment or do I need to make any modifications for a fit.

You should not need any modifications to fit 19" or 20" oem wheels. I just changed my car out to the 20" wheels with spacers to make the fitment more flush with the fenders. Mine is lowered.

There are many threads discussing the ride comfort, and 20" wheel strength, on the C7 A6. Several 20" owners have reported issues with pot-holes and damages to their wheels. You might want to upgrade to 19"s only if the holes are that bad.
