Picking up my 2012 A6 3.0T Premium Plus tomorrow! First time Audi owner!
Excited to be joining the Audi family tomorrow! Going to be a huge upgrade from my previous Acuras! This is a Former Leased A6 well maintained at every service interval and with 51k miles.
Any suggestions for a new owner?

Welcome! I too just came over to Audi, from Lexus. I just got 13 prestige CPO with the gorgeous 20" sport package. My Car does have its quirks and issues, but it is a blast to drive! One problem is, the 20's keep me from really opening it up for fear of damaging a rim from being careless and hitting an obstacle on the road. I do have a winter wheel and snow tire package en route.
The car has great pull! I'm a little nervous about carbon build up now that Ibe read some disturbing news about it. Not sure that there is anything to that we can do anything to prevent it. I will always run premium Mobil fuel, run some techron now and again, but there really isn't anything you can do with these DI engines to rectify the vulnerability of carbon build up. It's kind of my pink elephant in the room I have almost 30k. At 50k I would consider having a look inside to see how your valves look and decide if it's time for some "maintenance". 3 of my puddle lamps don't work on my car, I recently discovered, and I will have Audi take care of it after the holiday. I also have the warm start lurch. Kinda sucks. I'm CPO with tons of warranty left so I'm ready to utilize it.

Try an Acura NSX and you won't need to ask -- LOL. I too came over from Acura (kept the NSX and sold my beloved /06 TL with 140,000 trouble-free miles over 9 years to a good friend -- still running like new). Almost nothing went wrong in all those years/miles and total "repair" costs were under $1,200. Everything else was tires, brakes, batteries, oil changes, brake calipers/rotors and similar -- all maintenance items -- extremely pleasant and capable vehicle without any service/mechanical nightmares. The foregoing kept me smiling.
My /15 3.0T S-line, sport package, cold weather, Bose, LEDs puts a big smile on my face and I am really enjoying it. However, in my opinion the measure of how good a car really is depends on the overall long-term ownership experience, taking into account, among other things, running costs inclusive of maintenance and repairs. Audi appears to have improved markedly in recent years and I hope the big smile will still be on all of our collective faces for many miles/years post warranty expiration.
To OP -- enjoy your new ride!

Congrats, Very nice! If that's a blue exterior then I'm uber jealous! I really really wanted a moonlight blue paint with tan interior but couldn't find one at the time I needed a car.
Enjoy and welcome.
