Default Check Out PASSPORT 9500ci

I want a detector which cannot be detected in a perfect world, of course, especially in Virginia. Ugh!
According to their website (https://www.escortradar.com/passport9500ci/): " The PASSPORT 9500ci is completely undetectable to all radar detector detectors, keeping you unseen and unnoticed. Crystal-Clear Voice Alerts, Speed Alert™, Safety Warning System and its stealth installation make the PASSPORT 9500ci the ultimate in discreet protection."

There are only four detectors that are truly undetectable:
  • Escort Redline (dash-mounted)
  • Bel STi Magnum (dash-mounted)
  • Escort 9500ci (remote)
  • Bel STi-R Plus (remote)
Anything else will be picked up by Spectre. My vote is for either the Redline or the STi-R Plus, simply because they incorporate Ka band segmentation. Without going into the gory details, segmentation is a good thing to have.

No problem. If you want to be truly protected, get an ALP laser jammer setup as well. It's the only one that will properly deal with modern Variable Pulse Rate police LIDAR.

On the list, the ticket prevention is higher than brakes, ECU... Thx again. Perfect.

I had the undetectable Sti for a while but I still had tickets. Cops are trained to trigger the gun at the last minute. If you are not following somebody chances are that you'll get caught in many situations.

Instant-on Radar takes all the fun out of playing "Cops and Speeders". Back in the day when they had to follow and clock you, at least we had a fighting chance. They also had Light-bars that were easy to see, rather than the stealth lights they currently have. Now the playing field is severely tilted in their direction.

True, but we do have the internet. I think it is interesting to see or know about verified alerts from others and databases of known problem points.

It would be nice to be able to just pay for that database coupled with GPS which just tells you someone with a detector got an alert and when. I wonder if that exists...

Yes that exists with "Escort Live". Here's a link:

I've driven in the RS 7 with a V1, and it never stopped going off. My old school Passport is completely immune to the car's radar, but doesn't have Ka or laser.. then again, all a laser detector does it announce that you're busted. =)
