Are you saying that the laser shift response provided by the Passport 9500ci will not do you any good?

SamLV - I installed a Bel STi-R and Blinder Triple. Live in NJ and don't drive stupidly fast - but have MANY situations where I (and no one else) knew there was radar around and slowed down in time. Local town cops and speed traps are the worst. Bel does not go off excessively, and GPS "remembers" and locks out false signals after reading them a couple times. Was down in Baltimore and the database alerted me to a speed camera I never would have seen. Got the hardware from Blinder for a great price and had a custom install done for ~$450. Great investment!

SamLV: while were all chiming in with our recs I have a Valentine 1 along with laser-interceptor jammer system and it is fantastic! The cops detect your radar detector by its voltage leak but the V1 is shielded and when Im in VA or DC I put a kleenex box decoy over it to conceal it
FWIW

The independent test reviews I have seen all said the Escort shifters were useless. Could not jam worth a damn.

The Valentine 1 may stealthier than other detectors, it can still be detected. The only detectors that are truly Spectre-proof are the Escort/Bel models that use the M3 horn (Redline, STi Driver, 9500ci and STiR Plus).

Once again, if you're installing a new laser jammer, the only one to get (currently) is ALP. Everything else cannot detect and/or jam the new police LIDARs.
