I bought my 2014 A6 TDI with 7K miles for 51K and it WAS CPO. In fact, I recall the dealer saying they could be more flexible on price (perhaps $1500?) if I didn't need it to be CPO. However, I also recall there are differences in cost for the extended warranty if you are CPO (wraparound cost) versus not CPO if any of this matters to you.
Cannot speak to Audi Care diffs (if any) since I wrench on my own car.

Didn't want to get too off topic, but does it matter much if it's not CPO??? I'm assuming I can purchase a warranty from Audi that will go beyond the original warranty. Will see what I can do this weekend on getting the car, hope they are willing to take $1k or $2k off the price. Thanks for the help on here.

I believe that it was a non-trival sum between the extended warranty on a CPO and non-CPO. Maybe ~$3K and it also matters that the car is NOT past a certain mileage. This probably discourages pulling the extended warranty at a later time when you may know there is something wrong with the car.
Also, if the car is CPO then you have to buy the cheaper wraparound extended warranty from the dealership that sold you the CPO otherwise you pay the non wrap around price.
No, I'm not joking and no I couldn't believe that Audi puts its customers through this.
Please do the following research to save yourself $$$:
1) CPO vs non-CPO and any Audi warranty that you might want
2) CPO car with cheaper wrap around warranty must be purchased from dealership that sold CPO so you likely should negotiate both at the same time.

I remember when purchasing mine there were all these rules and whatnot that I found out about after the fact and was able to make it right with with the dealer (after needing to speak with the GM). So I'm glad you were able to use that information to make an informed decision considering your own circumstances/needs.
As an aside, I think Audi's policies regarding this are very questionable. If someone is interested in an extended warranty how you purchase the car impacts the price of that warranty. That should be disclosed up front even if it makes the sale harder. Not disclosing it until the 11th hour just doesn't smell right and was really the only thing that tarnished my Audi experience so far.

Just purchased a 2014 TDI Premium Plus with 9500 mi with CPO for $47,900. Cold weather package, side assist, Bose. It took some negotiating, but the CPO is a great deal. I had injectors covered at 95k on my previous Audi. I've added BBS wheels/snows and Xpel.
I commute 100 mi/day. Car is superb on highway, getting 38-40 mpg on highway. Can't wait for it to get broken in! Surprisingly nimble for a car of this size. Quiet, smooth, and I love the power of the TDI. No worries for the next 90k miles.
