These type of statements are always amusing - and wrong.
There is no singular best tire. It depends on driving style, preference on handling, noise, category (all season, ultra high performance, etc, etc)

They do not come in 20" size. I just put the Premier A/S 18" tires on my A6 and like them a lot so far. They've been great in the snow here the last month - far better than the OEM Continentals.

Wow, that's a rude reply.

The original poster was clear in his requirements, perhaps you should read it again?

BTW, I personally like the Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3's as well and my misson is similar.

1. It is not rude, it is accurate - there is no singular best tire
2. I did read the OP's requirements, did you? Because he clearly put emphasis on quiet ride and said he did not need worry about wet / snow so your recommendation of all seasons does not fit his requirements.
3. You realize the Michelin PS3 is different from the Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3 don't you:

Max Performance Summer

Pilot Sport 3
Pilot Sport PS2
Pilot Sport PS2 ZP
Pilot Sport ZP
Pilot Super Sport
Pilot Super Sport ZP

Ultra High Performance Summer

Pilot Exalto PE2

Ultra High Performance All-Season

Pilot Sport A/S 3 (W- or Y-Speed Rated)
Pilot Sport A/S Plus ZP

High Performance All-Season

Pilot Sport A/S 3 (H- or V-Speed Rated)
Pilot Sport A/S Plus N-Spec

Another option is Yokohama Advan all seasons. I saw a thread where they were much quieter than the 20 inch P Zeros. He liked them better than the Hankook ventus S1 Noble 2. These are all seasons and not maximum performance tires.

I put hankook s1 noble 2 on my 335 with sport pkg (but 18 inch) and the ride and quiet is incredible - but I'm comparing them to run flats so I would have been happier with just about anything.

Let there be no confusion in my suggestion to the original poster:

1) I, also, enjoy the Michelin brand of tires

2) I find the Pilot Sport AS/3's to be a delightfully quiet ride in my non-high performance sedan

3) I also live in an area where I don't concern myself greatly with snow or rain, however find the quietness and versatility of all season tires to tickle my fancy greatly.

Peace be with you all!

I really like the P7s on my new A6; and they are reasonably quiet
