Fd warranty quote from Troy for Platinum for zero deductible 7/100,000 was $4160.
That was the highest price.
2014 A6 2.0t premium plus less than 10,000 miles.

Seems a high price for an extra 3 years for a base model.

Here is what Troy sent me and theres a large differential based on the deductible which is confusing to me. $1500 drop with a $250 deductible?
Its about $800 difference with Audi factory EW vs Troy's quote for 7yr/100K with $100 deductible: $4100 vs $3300 with FD respectively.
Not sure the difference is enough for me to have heartburn over a non-factory product on this very complicated high tech vehicle.
Owners please weigh in!

Not sure what you mean, Troy's warranty is the factory extended warranty. And also not sure why deductible is confusing, you pay less if you are willing to assume more cost per repair...in your example, if you think you will get the car fixed more than 6 times when out of original warranty, get the lower deductible plan.

Technically, there are no Audi factory extended warranties, just third party companies including Fidelity, which many dealers like to use to sell policies. The only "extended" warranty Audi offers is with CPO pre-owned cars.

Snagit, Gronk: thank you and MB does sell an EW of their own product so I assumed Audi did as well. My error.
By confusion I meant such a large price difference between the $100 and $250 EW total price, thats all.
So you experienced Audi guys recommend Troy's quote and product I assume?
If so then its good enough for me and thank you.
