Oh, no issue here. I prefer it to start lower at 12. When I read the OP's first post I assumed it was a Bose issue. But when M/M said it was happening with his B&O, I thought I'd share my insights since it's not happening with mine so something must be amiss. I have looked thru the VCDS coding a while back but nothing stood out as a volume setting. Most of our 2016 modules aren't fully decoded yet.

I prefer it to start lower than what I had it turned up to. The default 12 is a good level until something good starts playing. I usually don't turn my music down when I park so the automatic decrease is nice. But I wouldn't want it going to zero like these guys.
