Thought I'd give you all an update here. As said above, I experienced noise on the drivers side on my 2014 model at high speed, like the window is not closed thoroughly.

I brought the car back to the dealer, and they could not find anything 'out of the ordinary'. They recognize however a noise.
A new appointment was made as a representative from the importer wanted to test drive.
The verdict was: This is 'normal', and is caused by the shape/design of the body. Apperently I was expecting to much ?
The dealer told me that I was not the only one who complained. They already had two customers who had put in the double glas option in the workshop.
So, in case you wonder why that is an option you can order, here is the answer.....

As for the rest, the car is doing not so bad. But the steering is to American for my taste. On the highway, the car seems not to want to go straight, but as that is off topic, i will leave it at that.

Took delivery of a new 2015 A6 last week; drove it today on the highway and have a persistent wind noise as if the windows are every so slightly cracked when traveling above 65 mph. It seems to be both sides of the car, but I notice the driver's side much more so (obviously). So, the problem still exists, will take car into dealership next week.

Try pushing up on the window from the inside of the car. Sometimes appear to be close but have a slight opening. This solved my problem. You may need a window close adjustment.

FYI: No noticeable wind noise so far from inside a 2016 A6 Prestige

Perhaps that's due to the acoustic glass they use now. The S6 got it standard and I think the A6 did as well.
